You can purchase electronic Gift Certificates to give gift memberships for ConsumerLab.com to family and friends. The certificate entitles them to a full year of online access to ConsumerLab.com.

Can I have the Gift Certificate sent directly to the recipient?
Yes. As you go through the order process you will be asked for an e-mail address on the gift form. Include the recipient's e-mail address and we will deliver the Gift Certificate immediately via e-mail along with your gift message.

Can I specify the date I would like my Gift Certificate to be sent?
No, but you do have two options: 1) You can have us deliver the Gift Certificate to you via e-mail so that you can give it to your recipient at a later date. Just give us your e-mail address on the gift form. You can either forward the e-mail later or print it out to give to your recipient. 2) Purchase your Gift Certificate within the 24-hour time frame you would like your gift to arrive.

What if I don't know the email address of the recipient?
You can have the electronic Gift Certificate sent directly to yourself. It will have the personalized gift message you specified. You will be able to either print the Gift Certificate or forward the electronic Gift Certificate via email at a later date.

How do I print out the Gift Certificate?
To present a printed copy of the Gift Certificate we suggest you print out the e-mail copy you will receive along with a copy of the ConsumerLab.com home page to give to your recipient. Once you have given them the gift be sure to forward the e-mail you have received since it will then be easy for them to click on the link in the message to begin to activate their membership. Will the Gift Certificate expire?
Yes. All Gift Certificates expire within 180 days of purchase. Your recipient must activate their online membership within that time period for it to be valid. As long as they activate their membership within this time period they will have a full year's access to ConsumerLab.com. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.

What happens at the end of the one-year membership?
The Gift Certificate is for only one year of online access to ConsumerLab.com. At the end of the time period the membership will expire. We reserve the right to contact you to see whether you would like to renew the gift membership but if you choose not to renew the membership it will expire.

Will I have the opportunity to review and change my Gift Certificate order before it is finalized?
Yes. You will have the opportunity to add additional recipients, delete a recipient, or change your message prior to submitting your order.

Is there an area online where I can review the details of my order?
Yes. As you go through the process of purchasing Gift Certificates you will establish a Username and Password (Note: If you are already member or gift certificate giver, you can use your existing identity). From any page on our site click on the "My Account" link and enter your Username and Password. You will see each Gift Certificate Number ordered and the recipient for each Gift Certificate Number.

Can I send a Gift Certificate to someone outside of the United States?
Yes, you can. However, most of the content and ratings are for U.S. products. Keep in mind, the Gift Certificate amount is in U.S. dollars.

How will I know that my Gift Certificate has been sent?
We will send you an e-mail confirming your purchase of the Gift Certificate. This will also be your notification that the Gift Certificate has been sent. You will receive a separate e-mail for each Gift Certificate order.
