"Greatest Vitamin in the World" Promoter Investigated

On August 21, 2007, the Arizona Republic newspaper reported that postal inspectors have seized documents at the home and busines of Don Lapre, seller of "The Greatest Vitamin in the World." Lapre has not been charged, but a search-warrant affidavit indicated that agents are gathering evidence of possible mail, wire, and telemarketing fraud. According to the article, the Better Business Bureau assigned an "unsatisfactory" rating to Greatest Vitamin in the World and has received 473 complains about the company in the past three years.
