More Generic Versions of Heart Medication Recalled

As reported in the New York Times on June 24, 2014, certain lots of the blood pressure medication metoprolol succinate extended-release have recently been recalled. The recalling manufacturers are the Indian companies Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and Wockhardt. The products are generic versions of brand name Toprol XL.
