DaVinci Laboratories Memory Supplement Recalled

On May 8, 2024, DaVinci Laboratories issued a recall of one lot (approximately 72 bottles) of Amyloid Complete capsules because they may contain undeclared shellfish (shrimp and crab). A bottle of Amyloid Complete from the recalled lot was reported by a customer to contain the wrong pills, and may instead contain Perna Plus Tabs with DMG, a product promoted for joint and connective tissue function, which contains shellfish.

People with an allergy to shellfish should not consume these products as they could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.

Recalled Amyloid Complete capsules (see product photos) are promoted to improve memory and cognition and were distributed nationwide through e-commerce sites, including iHerb.com and fullscripts.com, as well as through direct delivery. They are packaged in a white plastic bottle marked with lot number 549853001 and expiration date 0125 on the side of the product label.

Customers who have recalled products are encouraged to contact the company to arrange for return and replacement of the product.
