Phytosomal formulations, such as Meriva, which combine curcumin with phosphatidylcholine (a natural surfactant that dissolves in both water and oil), can help to improve bioavailability compared to regular curcumin. Other formulations, such as BMC-95, CurcuWin, Theracurmin, and black pepper extract (Bioperine) may also improve bioavailability.
