Preventing Too Much Vitamin D by Taking Other Vitamins
Is it true that overdoses of vitamin D only occur when you don't get enough vitamin K?
The idea has been suggested that adverse effects of very high doses of vitamin D can be eliminated by also administering doses of vitamins A and K. This has not been proven and remains only a hypotheses put forward by an individual, as noted in the How Much Do You Need and How Much Is Too Much? section of the Vitamin D Supplements Review.
Getting too much vitamin D may have harmful effects, such as increasing the risk of fractures and falls and upper respiratory infections, interfering with sleep (apparently due to reduced production of melatonin), and hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the blood, causing a variety of symptoms).
