How do I choose the best CLA supplement for slimming?

Answer:
Conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA, is an unsaturated fatty acid shown to increase the ratio of muscle to fat in the body, which can help with slimming -- although it has not been shown conclusively to help reduce weight.

Look for a supplement that provides between 3,000 to 4,000 milligrams of CLA per daily serving, the amount studies suggest may help to increase lean mass. Avoid products that only list the amount of a "blend" or "formula," without listing exactly how much CLA is in the blend. Also, be aware that ConsumerLab.com tests have found that some products don't always contain the amount of CLA claimed on the label.
