Sundial Herbal Recalls More Than Sixty Products Including Turmeric, Cinnamon & Tea

If you have experienced an unexpected and adverse reaction to a dietary supplement, nutritional product, or generic drug, we would like to hear about it, as we may investigate the problem.

On July 9, 2020, Sundial Herbal Products issued a recall of more than 60 herbal products because they were misbranded and/ or promoted with drug claims. Their labels contain drug claims stating the products can diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent disease.

All Sundial products can be identified by the "Sundial" label and come in brown glass bottles, boxes, Ziploc bags, or paper bags with clear viewing windows. These recalled products have been sold since January 1, 2014, and are as follows:

  • Flax Seed Oil & Honey Blend

  • Mitmitta (Cayenne Pepper)

  • Spiced Tea

  • Bitter Kola (Arogbo)

  • Mahogany Bark

  • Nigerian Moringa Leaf Powder

  • Jamaican Bissy Powder

  • Chaney Root

  • Jamaican Turmeric

  • Ghanian Black Spice

  • Cerasee Bay Leaves, Mango Bark

  • Bitter Wood

  • Piss A Bed

  • Asthma

  • Devil Horsewhip

  • Purple Sage

Sundial Herbal Products was ordered to halt production of their products in June, 2020 and had previously been warned by the FDA for selling adulterated products.
