On August 1, 2022, DISTRIBUTOR RFR, LLC recalled one lot of SANGTER Energy Supplement 3000 mg to the consumer level after FDA analysis found the product to contain undeclared sildenafil, a prescription medication.

Sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) is prescribed for erectile dysfunction. This drug can cause symptoms like headache and flushing and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure.

SANGTER Energy Supplement 3000 mg is marketed as a dietary supplement for male sexual enhancement. The affected products (see product images) are packaged in 7-count blister packs within a carton. The products can be further identified by the following:

DISTRIBUTOR RFR, LLC is notifying its distributors and customers through the recall notice and is arranging for the return of all recalled products. Consumers should contact their physician or healthcare provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using these drug products.

Consumers and healthcare providers can report any adverse reactions to the FDA’s MedWatch Voluntary Reporting Program.
