FDA Warns of Sexual Supplements with Drug-like Ingredients

On March 25, 2008, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration advised consumers not to purchase or use "Blue Steel" or "Hero" products marketed as dietary supplements throughout the United States because they are considered unapproved drugs and have not been proven to be safe or effective. These products contain undeclared ingredients, which may dangerously affect a person’s blood pressure level.
