Seller of Aloe and Vitamin C Supplements Warned for Manufacturing Violations

On December 12, 2013, the FDA issued a warning letter to Health Breakthroughs International, following a facility inspection which found the company's products, MPS Gold 100, MPS Gold 3X and Amazing C, to be adulterated because they were prepared, packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices for dietary supplements.

These violations include failure to determine whether established product specifications for finished dietary supplement products were met and failure to implement quality control operations in manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and holding operations.

MPS Gold 100 and MPS Gold 3X contain aloe vera and larch powder and are promoted for both animal and human use.

Amazing C contains ascorbic acid, calcium citrate, magnesium citrate and L-Glutamine.
