Seller of Silver Supplement Warned for Claiming to Treat Ebola and Other Viruses

On November 19, 2014, the FDA issued a warning letter to, following a review of the website, which found statements made about Silver sol to be drug claims.

Silver sol was promoted to treat Ebola and other viruses with statements such as "EBOLA AND NANO-SILVER VIRAL IMMUNIZATION," "Silver sol resonates at a frequency that can actually suppress and contain viral infections by interfering with the duplication and replication of viral infections," and "To fight viruses, silver sol can be taken internally as a liquid, topically as a gel, or inhaled... You can expect a noticeable benefit to be felt within the first two hours and significant benefits within the first two days." 

Silver sol is sold as a supplement in the following products: ASAP Solution, Patis 30 Fortified Silver Solution, ASAP Ultimate Skin & Body Care Gel, Combo Wellness Pack and Combo Gel Pack.
