Herbal "Sexual Enhancement Coffee" Recalled, One Death Reported
Caverflo.com has received a report of an individual death after use of the coffee.
Sildenafil, the active ingredient in the prescription drug Viagra, tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis, and vardenafil , the active ingredient in Levitra, are prescribed for erectile dysfunction. These drugs can cause symptoms like headache and flushing, and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure.
The product may also contain undeclared milk.
Recalled Caverflo Natural Herbal Coffee was distributed nationwide from April 2016 through February 2014 through the company's website, Caverflo.com. It can be identified by the following:
- Packaging: 25 gram black foil packs
- UPC: 9555671709994
Consumers who have purchased this product should not use it and should discard it, and should contact their doctor. Consumers and healthcare providers may also report any adverse reactions to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting Program.
