Seller of Alpha Lipoic Acid, Cinnamon Supplements and More Warned For Manufacturing Violations
These violations include failure to establish a system of production and process controls to ensure the quality of the dietary supplement and that the dietary supplement is packaged and labeled as specified in the master manufacturing record, as required by federal regulations.
In addition, statements made about these products on the company's websites were found to be drug claims. For example, Alpha Lipoic Acid tablets were promoted with statements such as "[its] primary objective [is to] to protect cells from the oxidation which is a natural component of .... disease," and its Cinnamon Extract tablets were promoted with statements such as "Nature's Vision customers are consistently using the product as a result of many studies and reports on the positive results for type 2 diabetes sufferers ."
Several of the company's supplements, including Cinnamon Extract tablets, Alpha Lipoic Acid tablets, Elderberry Ultimate Immune Response and Party Recovery were also found to be misbranded, because the labels failed to provide required information, such as complete ingredient lists or others a domestic company address or phone number.
