Nutra Labs Recalls Sexual Enhancement Supplements Containing Undeclared Drugs

On November 30, 2017, Nutra Labs Inc. recalled certain lots of its sexual enhancement supplements Bull 1800 mg Capsules and Chao Jimengnan 150 mg Tablets because they were found to contain undeclared sildenafil.

Sildenafil and tadalafil, the active ingredients in the prescription drugs Viagra and Cialis, respectively, are prescribed for erectile dysfunction. These drugs can cause symptoms like headache and flushing, and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure that may be life threatening.

Recalled Bull 1800 mg Capsules and Chao Jimengnan 150 mg Tablets were distributed nationwide through online sales and can be identified by the following:
  • Bull 1800 mg Capsules (30 pills per tin), Production date: 05/08/2016, Expiration date: 05-07-2019

  • Chao Jimengnan 150 mg Tablets (4 pills per box), Lot # 20151018, Expiration date: 10/2017
Nutra Labs Inc. is notifying its customers by e-mail and is arranging for return of all recalled products.

Consumers who have purchased these supplements should discontinue use immediately and contact their healthcare provider if they have experienced any adverse side effects. Consumers and healthcare providers are also encouraged to report any adverse reactions to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting Program.
