Seller of Chinese "Cancer" Supplements Warned

On June 26, 2018, the FDA issued a warning letter to the American Chinese Medicine Association (ACMA), following a a review of the company's website, which found statements made about its products, including ACMA Brain Tumor Treatment, ACMA Breast Cancer Treatment, ACMA Colon Cancer Treatment, ACMA Multiple Myeloma Treatment, and ACMA Lyme Disease Treatment to be drug claims.

For example, ACMA Brain Tumor Treatment was promoted with statements such as "ACMA treatments selectively kill cancerous cells, either directly or indirectly, and do no harm to normal cells." ACMA Breast Cancer Treatment was promoted with statements such as "ACMA Breast Cancer Treatment is a very effective breast cancer treatment... "
