FDA Warns Seller of Goldenseal and Parasite Supplements

On August 15, 2018, the FDA issued a warning letter to Healthy Healing dba Crystal Star, following a facility inspection which found certain statements product labels, including product labels for Women's Best Friend and Para Purge, to be drug claims. 

For example, Women's Best Friend was promoted with claims such as "[R]educe swelling" and "Goldenseal Root...a supreme anti-microbial..."

Para Purge was promoted with claims such as "Helps cleanse and release a variety of parasitic organisms...[to] prevent reinfestation" and "Black walnut hulls...purgative help for intestinal worms..."
