Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate Bar Recalled Due to Allergen Risk

On March 28, 2019, Theo Chocolate issued a recall of 3oz Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate bars because they may contain undeclared milk. 

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not consume these bars as they may cause potentially life-threatening allergic reactions.

Recalled Theo Chocolate Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate bars were distributed nationwide to select retailers between January 30th, 2019 to March 11th, 2019 and can be identified by the following:
  • UPC 8 74492 00325

  • Lot code 3092529

  • Best-Buy date 1/2020 UPC 57777 00469
Consumers who purchased this bar and are allergic/sensitive to milk should not consume the product and immediately dispose of the product.
