Holistic Healthy Pet Warned for Drug Claims

On August 25, 2020, the FDA issued a warning letter to Savvy Holistic Health dba Holistic Healthy Pet following a review of the company's website, which found statements made about some of the company's products, including Doctor's Best for Your Pets, Savvy Holistic Health Pet Essences, Holistic Animal Remedies (HAMPL)/ HAMPL Pet Formulas, Calm My Pet, and Glacier Peak Holistics to be drug claims.

For example, Calm My Pet was promoted with statements such as "This spray is recommended for arthritis, discomfort, muscle/joint soreness and overuse."

In addition, these products were found to be adulterated because they are unapproved new animal drugs.
