Dark Chocolate Recalled Due to Allergen Risk

On December 1, 2020, Maribel's Sweets issued a recall of Cacao Market Cylinder Dark Chocolate Pearls because they contain undeclared milk.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not consume these candies as they may cause potentially life-threatening allergic reactions.

Recalled Cacao Market Cylinder Dark Chocolate Pearls (see images) were sold in New York City stores and throughout the US on the website MarieBelle.com. They are packaged in 5-ounce plastic cylinders with UPC code 877708002502.

Consumers who purchased these candies and are allergic/sensitive to milk should not consume the product and immediately dispose of the product.
