CytoSport's Evolve Protein Shakes Recalled

On May 1, 2021, CytoSport, Inc., recalled certain lots of Evolve Protein Shakes because they have the potential to be contaminated with soy protein.

People with an allergy to soy should not consume these shakes as they could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. 

Recalled Evolve Protein Shakes (see product photos) were distributed nationwide through retailers and various websites, including www.drinkevolve.com. They can be identified by the following:
  • Evolve Double Chocolate Protein Shake, Package: 11 oz - Tetra Pak cartons sold in 4 pack, MFG Date: 12/31/2020
  • Evolve Double Chocolate Protein Shake, Package: 11 oz - Tetra Pak cartons sold in 4 pack, MFG Date: 1/1/2021
  • Evolve Vanilla Bean Protein Shake, Package: 11 oz - Tetra Pak cartons sold in 4 pack, MFG Date: 12/30/2020
  • Evolve Vanilla Bean Protein Shake, Package: 11 oz - Tetra Pak cartons sold in 4 pack, MFG Date: 1/25/2021
People who have purchased recalled CytoSport Evolve Protein Shakes should dispose of or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
