On April 4, 2026, Wegmans Food Markets announced a recall of Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice (2 lb) due to possible contamination with foreign material.

Foreign material in food products can pose a choking hazard or cause injury if consumed.

Recalled Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice was sold at Wegmans stores and can be identified by the following:

• Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice (2 lb bag)
• UPC: 073416-040281
• Best by dates & lot codes: 02/01/2027 (260201); 02/02/2027 (260202)

Consumers should not consume the recalled product and should return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

Currently, it’s unclear whether recalled Lundberg rice was sold at other retail locations.
