AZO Bladder Control

Question:
Does AZO Bladder Control really work for overactive bladder?

Answer:
AZO Bladder Control with Go Less® (i-Health Inc.) is promoted to "safely reduce occasional urgency" and "support bladder strength." It contains a "proprietary blend" of pumpkin seed extract and soy germ extract (Go Less®). The evidence behind it suggests, at best, only a slight improvement in bladder control in women. For men, only preliminary research has been conducted — although one of the ingredients its formula has potential benefit for men with enlarged prostate.  See the full answer for details >>

Is there anything else that can help bladder control..so you don't need to go so often?

Hi Lisa - There appears to be little research on supplements for overactive bladder (OAB). A review of the most commonly used herbs for overactive bladder found that there was not enough clinical research to support their use, concluding that some "show some promise for the treatment of OAB but lack definitive studies to prove their efficacy" (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3821987/).
