Protein And Nutrition Bars Recalled Due To Undeclared Milk Allergen

On June 13, 2013, the U.S. FDA alerted consumers that Sequel Naturals Ltd., dba Vega, issued a voluntary recall of a variety of Vega One and Vega Sport protein bars because the bars contain undeclared milk.

Consumption of these bars can cause serious or life-threatening reactions in people with an allergy to milk.

ConsumerLab.com first reported this recall on June 7, 2013 when it was announced by Health Canada.
