Maker of Sexual Enhancement Supplement Warned for Manufacturing Violations

On July 11, 2013, the FDA issued a warning letter to Precise Nutrition International Inc., following a facility inspection which found the company's VitalErotic Shot to be adulterated because it was packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices for dietary supplements.

These violations include failure to conduct at least one appropriate test or examination to verify the identity of dietary ingredient, failure to verify that finished batches of dietary supplements met specifications for identity, purity, strength, and composition, and failure to maintain adequate manufacturing records.

VitalErotic Shot contains L-Arginine, L-Ornithine, gamma amino butyric acid (GABA), yohimbe, vitamin C, thiamin, niacin, pyridoxine, and vitamin B12. It is promoted as a dietary supplement for sexual enhancement for men and women.
