Maker of Joint Health Supplements Warned for Manufacturing Violations

On December 4, 2013, the FDA issued a warning letter to PurQuality, LLC., following a facility inspection which found the company's products, including TriMedica Oseto Help and TriMedica Pure MSM, to be adulterated because they were packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices for dietary supplements.

Violations include failure to establish specifications for strength and failure to establish limits for heavy metal contamination for TriMedica Oseto Help TriMedica Pure MSM.

These products were also found to be misbranded because the labels failed to declare the servings per container and list the common name of certain ingredients.

See ConsumerLab.com's Review of Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM Supplements for Joint Health for tests of related products and see the Review of DHEA Supplements for tests of other TriMedica products.
