Weight and Enhancement Supplements Recalled
- Recalled Miracle Diet 30 is promoted for weight loss and was sold throughout the U.S. through internet sales. It is packaged in 30-count plastic bottles and can be identified by lot number of 150416 and expiration date 04/15/2018. This product was found to contain phenolphthalein.
Phenolphthalein, once an ingredient in some over-the-counter laxative products, was reclassified by the FDA in 1999 as "not generally recognized as safe and effective
- Recalled Miracle Rock 48 is promoted for male enhancement. It is packaged in packaged in two blister packages of 2-count capsules, 4 capsules per box., and can be identified by lot number 20150602 and expiration date 06/01/2018 . and sold between February 23, 2015 and May 7, 2015. It was found to contain undeclared thiosildenafil.
Thiosildenafi is similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, which is prescribed for erectile dysfunction. This drug can cause symptoms like headache and flushing, and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure.
Consumers who have purchased these supplements should not use them, and contact their healthcare provider if they have experienced any adverse side effects. Consumers and healthcare providers are also encouraged to report any adverse reactions to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting Program.
Out of caution, One Minute Miracle Inc. is also withdrawing all sizes and lots of Miracle Cholesterol, Miracle Night Time, Miracle Joint-Flex, Miracle Stud 72, Miracle Magic Man, Male Mint Gum, Miracle 48 Hrs, Miracle Magic Woman, Miracle Cougar, Miracle Cougar Gum, Miracle Cougar G-Spot, Miracle G-Spot, Vagina Rejuvenation, Miracle Anti-Wrinkle, Miracle Stud Delay, Miracle Male Stud Spray, Miracle Male Stud Coffee, Miracle Male Coffee, Male 10, Miracle Male Stud Sublingual, Male 72 Hr, Miracle Tongue Sublingual, Miracle Tongue and Master Blaster.
Update (9/16/2015): The company has expanded this recall to include all lots of these products.
