Seller of Liquid Aloe & Mineral Supplement Warned for Manufacturing Violations

On August 10, 2016, the FDA issued a warning letter to Perfect Source Natural Products Inc., following a facility inspection which found the company's products, including its Performance Plus aloe vera based, liquid trace mineral supplement, to be adulterated because they were prepared, packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices for dietary supplements.

These violations include failure to establish adequate product specifications for the identity and purity of the finished batch of a dietary supplement, as required by federal regulations.

In addition, Performance Plus was found to be misbranded because the label did not provide required information , including a domestic address or domestic phone number.
