GNC Women's Multi Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergen

On November 16, 2016, Nutra Manufacturing, Inc. issued a recall of one lot of GNC Women's Ultra Mega Time Release multivitamin because it contains undeclared milk.

People who have an allergy to milk should not consume this product as it could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.

Recalled GNC Women's Ultra Mega Time Release was distributed starting in August 23, 2016 through the present. It is packaged in 180 count an HDPE plastic bottle with a child resistant closure and can be identified by the following:

  • Lot# 3044FQ2024
  • UPC 048107158910
  • Expiration date June 2018

No other GNC brand products or lots are part of the recall.

In 2015, ConsumerLab.com tested a 90 count GNC Women's Ultra Mega Time Release multivitamin as part of its Multivitamin/Multimineral Review. However, note that the product reviewed by ConsumerLab.com is not being recalled. The recalled product is 180 count and was distributed nine months after the review.
