Seller of Tea Supplements Warned for Manufacturing Violations

On February 3, 2017, the FDA issued a warning letter to Kumato Labs, following a facility inspection which found the company's products, including CHO WA Tea, COMOXIN IBS Formula and NEMURI Sleep Formula to be adulterated because they were prepared, packed, or held under conditions that violate Current Good Manufacturing Practices for dietary supplements.

These violations include failure to establish and follow written procedures to fulfill the requirements related to product complaints, and to establish and follow written procedures for holding and distributing operations, as required by federal regulations.
