Seller of "Super Strength Prostate Formula," Acai Berry Supplements & More Warned for Drug Claims

On June 30, 2017, the FDA issued a warning letter to Nature's Health Company, LLC, following a facility inspection and review of the company's website, www.natureshealthcompany.com, which found statements made about its products, including Ojibwa Herbal Tea Formula, Acai-Acai Berry Fruit, Blood Sugar Support, Graviola, Maca, and Super Strength Prostate Formula, to be drug claims.

For example, Super Strength Prostate Formula was promoted with statements such as "After reading some of the Clinical Trials and Studies, (references provided) and the positive results achieved in those studies using these various ingredients, we formulated our "Super Strength Prostate Formula.""

Blood Sugar Support was promoted with statements such as "Blood Sugar Support Formula can help you keep your sugar levels balanced.

Acai-Acai Berry Fruit was promoted with statements such as "Acai berries can help the body get rid of toxins that can cause illness such as cancer, heart problems, high cholesterol and stress related illnesses."

Maca was promoted with statements such as "Maca has been made famous for its positive effects on sexual dysfunction."
