NeuroXPF CBD Warned for Making Coronavirus Claims

On March 31, 2020, the FDA issued a warning letter to NeuroXPF for selling products with unsupported claims that they can treat coronavirus (COVID-19).

The company was promoting CBD products with statements such as "Crush Corona... There's something you can do right now to strengthen your immune system. Take CBD... CBD can help keep your immune system at the stop of its game... We want everyone to take CBD and take advantage of its potential to help prepare your body to fight a coronavirus infection."

The agency instructed the companies to send an email to COVID-19-Task-Force-CDER@fda.hhs.gov within 48 hours of receipt of the warning, describing the specific steps they have taken to correct these violations.
