FDA Warns Seller of Curcumin and Cholesterol Supplements
On November 20, 2020, the FDA issued a warning letter to Natures Boost LLC following a review of the company's websites, which found statements made about the company's products Blood Boost Formula and Turmeric Curcumin to be drug claims.
For example, Blood Boost Formula was promoted with statements such as "ingredients inside the Blood Boost Formula have been studied for their effect on healthy cholesterol levels without the nasty side effects you see with statins."

Turmeric Curcumin was promoted with personal testimonials such as "I have had chronic pain for 16+ years. I have has [sic] 3 back surgeries, total knee replacement and fibromyalgia. I started this product just recently and in 3 days I can more effectively move my back with a HUGE decrease in pain."

In addition, Turmeric Curcumin was found to be misbranded because it does not contain adequate directions for safe use, as required by federal regulations.
