Seller of Omega-3 Warned for Making Claims to Treat Focus, Mood
On December 9, 2020, the FDA issued a warning letter to Bodyhealth.com, LLC following a review of the company's website, which found statements made about the company's products Healthy-Thin Energize, Body Detox (Oral Spray), and Omega 3 Health to be drug claims.
For example, Omega 3 Health was promoted with statements such as "Studies have shown that Omega-3 supplements improve focus, concentration, and lower symptoms of ADD" and "Other studies have found that Omega-3 supplementation reduced symptoms of depression by 40%, and even impacts other forms of anxiety and mood disorders."

Healthy-Thin Energize was promoted with statements such as "Supports Blood Sugar Levels" and "This ayurvedic herb has been used for thousands of years to treat diabetes and other metabolic conditions."

In addition, the products were found to be misbranded because they do not contain adequate directions for safe use, as required by federal regulations.
