Three More Male Enhancement Products Recalled Due to Undeclared Drugs

Between March 30 and April 5, 2021, three companies issued recalls of their male enhancement capsules because FDA analysis found them to contain sildenafil and/or tadalafil. The products are PremierZen Platinum 5000 and Triple SupremeZen Gold 3500 from NANA Collection LLC; IMPERIAL Gold 2000, PremierZEN Extreme 3000, BURRO en PRIMAVERA 60000, and IMPERIAL Platinum 2000 from QMART; and PremierZEN Extreme 3000, PremierZEN Black 5000, and Triple SupremeZEN Plus 3500 from Yolo Studio.

Sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) and tadalafil (the active ingredient in Cialis) are prescribed for erectile dysfunction. These drugs can cause symptoms like headache and flushing, and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure.

More details about each recently-warned company can be found below (use the link to read the full warning letter).

  • NANA Collection LLC (PremierZen Platinum 5000 and Triple SupremeZen Gold 3500) are packaged in paper packaging with a pill blister, 1 capsule per package. All lots are included in the recall.
  • QMART (IMPERIAL Gold 2000, PremierZEN Extreme 3000, BURRO en PRIMAVERA 60000, and IMPERIAL Platinum 2000) are packaged in cardboard blisters of 1 capsule (except BURRO en PRIMAVERA, which comes with 2). All lots are included in the recall.
  • Yolo Studio (PremierZEN Extreme 3000, PremierZEN Black 5000, and Triple SupremeZEN Plus 3500) are packaged in cardboard blisters containing one pill per card. All lots are included in the recall.

Consumers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them and return them to the place of purchase. Consumers should contact their physician or healthcare provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using these drug products.

Consumers and healthcare providers can report any adverse reactions to the FDA's MedWatch Voluntary Reporting Program.
