FDA Warns Seller of "CoronaBox" Containing Vitamin D, Probiotics & More for Unsupported Claims

On May 24, 2021, the FDA issued a warning letter to Everything Health LLC following a review of the company's website by the FDA and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) which found the company promoted its CoronaBox (which contains cordyceps, vitamins, and K2, magnesium, ginger, probiotics and other ingredients) with unsupported claims that it can treat coronavirus (COVID-19).

The FDA has previously stated: "There currently are no vaccines, pills, potions, lotions, lozenges or other prescription or over-the-counter products available to treat or cure coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)."

CoronaBox was promoted with statements such as "The Corona box is all you need to kick that nasty virus!" and "As long as the people will take what they need to take to prevent corona, and we talked about this, probiotics, natural antibiotics, D3 K2 Magnesium, vitamin C, sea moss, all these things, all reverse corona on a daily basis."

The FDA instructed the company to send an email to COVID-19-Task-Force-CDER@fda.hhs.gov within 48 hours of receipt of the warning, describing the specific steps it has taken to correct these violations.
