FDA Warns Seller of Magnesium, CBD, Herbal Extracts & More
On February 9, 2022, the FDA issued a warning letter to Bea Lydecker’s Naturals, Inc. following an inspection of the company’s product labels, catalogs, brochures, and website which found statements made about the company’s CBD Oil, Silver, Copper, Magnesium, Herbal Extract, and other products to be drug claims.
For example, Magnesium was promoted with statements such as “Prevents migraines, bone loss…and helps shrink tumors.” on the company’s website. Zinc was promoted with statements such as, “Natural anti-viral…”

In addition, Herbal Extract, Herbal Comound, and Immune products were promoted to treat COVID-19 . For example, the company’s Living Free Herbal Extract brochure stated, “YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEAR COVID 19 IF YOU HAVE THE HERBAL EXTRACT ON HAND. IT KILLS ANY VIRUS NO MATTER WHAT IT IS. ANY DOCTOR OR HEALTH CARE WORKER SHOULD KEEP THIS PRODUCT ON HAND.” Other statements such as “To ward off or kill this new strain of Corona I am advising everyone to increase their intake to two capsules per day [of Herbal Compound] or if on the liquid, take 6 to 7 drops a day.” promoted Herbal Compound products to treat COVID-19 on the company’s website.

The FDA has advised Bea Lydecker’s Naturals, Inc. to notify the agency in writing within 15 days of receipt of the warning letter outlining specific steps taken to address any violations.
