Male Enhancement Supplements Sold on Amazon Recalled
On January 27, 2022, Loud Muscle Science LLC issued a voluntary recall of various lots of Launch Sequence supplements because they were found to contain the prescription drug Tadalfil.
Tadalafil (the active ingredient in Cialis) is an ingredient in FDA approved products in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors and is prescribed for erectile dysfunction. These drugs can cause symptoms like headache and flushing and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure.
Recalled Launch Sequence supplements (see product images) are marketed as dietary supplements for male sexual enhancement. They were sold nationwide in the USA and Canada on Amazon, eBay.com, and retail stores and can be identified by the following:
- Launch Sequence Capsules, 60 count in bottle, ASIN: B07TLPWXDS and B08HM7VHCX, UPC: 641378938375 and 661020848166. Lot Numbers: C07172101, 2022054, 2021001, and 2022104.
