Modern Warrior Supplement for Mood, Memory, and Focus Recalled

On January 9, 2026, Modern Warrior recalled all lots of Modern Warrior Ready, a supplement promoted to improve mood, memory, and focus, because it contains undeclared tianeptine, 1,4-DMAA, and aniracetam. These drugs are not permitted in dietary supplements and may cause serious adverse effects.

Tianeptine is not approved for medical use in the U.S. and is an unscheduled pharmaceutical agent. It can cause life-threatening events, including suicidal ideation or behavior, in children, adolescents, and adults aged 25 years and younger. It can also cause confusion, seizures, drowsiness, dry mouth, and shortness of breath, and if taken with monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressants, can lead to stroke or death (see the FDA’s website for more information about this drug). 1,4-DMAA can increase blood pressure and potentially lead to cardiovascular problems, including heart attack, shortness of breath, and tightening of the chest. Aniracetam is a synthetic nootropic drug belonging to the racetam class, which has been investigated for improving cognitive function.

Recalled Modern Warrior Ready is packaged in a black plastic bottle with a black and gold label that states,” Modern Warrior - Body Repair Plan” and “Ready - Mental Clarity” on the front of the label. It was distributed nationwide and sold online from April 2022 through December 8, 2025.

Consumers should stop using the recalled product.
