Organic Psyllium Husk Powder Recalled in Canada Due to Insects

On January 21, 2026, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (the Canadian equivalent of the FDA) advised consumers that Persona Creations Inc. is recalling two Foodsquirrel Organic Psyllium Husk Powder products and one unbranded organic psyllium husk powder product because the products may be contaminated with insects.

The recalled products were sold online in Canada and are identified by the following:

  • Product name: Foodsquirrel Organic Psyllium Husk Powder (113 grams) Code: EX31DE27_FS1139
  • Product name: Foodsquirrel Organic Psyllium Husk Powder (454 grams) Code: EX31DE27_FS1139
  • Product name: Organic Psyllium Husk Powder (no brand name) (25 kilograms) Code: #FS1139; Lot number: GF/OPHP/5702/25

Consumers should not consume the recalled products.
