Primal Herbs Volume Recalled

On February 27, 2026, Primal Supplements Group LLC recalled Primal Herbs Volume after FDA laboratory analysis found that it contains sildenafil, an undeclared drug ingredient.

(See ConsumerLab’s Sexual Enhancement Supplements Review for tests of related products.)

Sildenafil is the active ingredient in the prescription drug Viagra, which is approved for use only under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. Consumers who unknowingly take sildenafil may be at risk for serious adverse effects. In particular, sildenafil can interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs — such as nitroglycerin — and may cause a sudden and dangerous drop in blood pressure.

Recalled Primal Herbs Volume (see product photos) is packaged in 8.5 oz round containers with green labels and sold nationwide online. The recall applies to all orders placed on the company's website between July 2 and September 19, 2025.

According to the recall notice, consumers who purchased the product during these dates should stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare provider if they experience any adverse effects.
