Joint Juice $90 Million Class Action Settlement

Premier Nutrition Corporation has agreed to pay $90 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that its Joint Juice glucosamine products were falsely marketed to help improve joint health despite a lack of reliable scientific evidence. The lawsuit claimed that advertising and labeling led consumers to believe that regularly drinking Joint Juice could relieve joint pain and improve joint function.

(See ConsumerLab’s Joint Health Supplements Review, which discusses the clinical evidence for glucosamine for osteoarthritis and joint pain, as well as our Top Picks among joint health supplements.)

As part of the settlement, consumers in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, or Pennsylvania who purchased Joint Juice glucosamine products may be eligible to receive a cash payment. The deadline to submit a claim is May 18, 2026.
