Gas-X Antigas SoftGels Recalled

On May 11, 2026, Haleon US Holdings LLC initiated a voluntary recall of certain lots of Gas-X Simethicone 125 mg Antigas softgels due to incomplete information on the carton label regarding the inactive ingredient. The FDA classified the recall as Class II on May 19, 2026. (See ConsumerLab’s article about supplements and products that may reduce — or worsen — flatulence.)

The recalled product was distributed nationwide in the U.S. and can be identified as follows:

  • Gas-X Simethicone 125 mg Antigas
  • 120 softgels
  • Lots: KB5Y, exp. 04/2028; MP4B, exp. 05/2028; SS4F, exp. 09/2028
  • UPC: 3 00674 35041 9
  • Distributed by: Haleon

FDA’s Enforcement Report lists the recall reason as “incomplete inactive ingredient information on the carton labeling.” The recall includes 285,330 blister cards.

Consumers who have the recalled product should check the lot number and contact Haleon or the place of purchase for more information. FDA’s Enforcement Report notes that no press release was issued for this recall.
