On August 7, 2026, Lexunder Inc. recalled several Food To Live brand green powder products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and people with weakened immune systems. Healthy people infected with Salmonella may experience fever, diarrhea, which may be bloody, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, Salmonella infection can result in the organism entering the bloodstream and causing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis, and arthritis.

The recalled products were sold nationwide online to consumers and businesses through the company’s website and other online marketplaces. The products were sold in resealable stand-up pouches and bulk cases weighing 33, 44, and 55 pounds and can be further identified by the following:

The recall was initiated after FDA notified the company that a sample of Food To Live Organic Supergreens Mix, 8-ounce package, lot SO-77820, collected at retail, tested positive for Salmonella. The source of the problem has not been determined. The company has suspended production and distribution of these products while FDA and the company continue their investigation.

In November 2025, Food To Live Organic Moringa Leaf Powder and Food To Live Organic Supergreens Mix were recalled due to potential Salmonella contamination.
