Salmonella infection can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In some cases, the infection can become more serious if the bacteria enter the bloodstream. Young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are at greater risk of severe illness.

Recalled 365 Whole Foods Market Standardized + Full Spectrum Blend Ashwagandha Capsules (see product photos) were sold nationwide between November 24, 2025 and October 20, 2026 on Amazon and in Whole Foods Market stores. They are packaged in white plastic bottles containing 120 capsules and can be identified as follows:

  • UPC: 9948252099
  • Lot number: 2025-26227
  • Expiration date: 10/13/2028

The potential contamination was identified through routine sampling of a single retail unit. As of October 30, 2026, no illnesses had been reported in connection with the recall.

Consumers who have recalled 365 Whole Foods Market Standardized + Full Spectrum Blend Ashwagandha Capsules should not consume the product and should discard it. FDA advises consumers not to return the recalled product to the store; refunds are available at any Whole Foods Market location.
