Monarch Premium Kratom Recalled Due to Salmonella Risk
On October 28, 2025, Vanguard Enterprises, LLC (dba Bedrock MFG) recalled certain lots of its Monarch Premium Kratom Bali Gold, Red Bali, Green Maeng Da, and White Elephant kratom powders because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella infection can cause fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Severe infections can result in bloodstream infection and complications such as endocarditis or arthritis, particularly in children, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems.
Recalled Monarch Premium Kratom powders (see product photos) were distributed nationwide (except for Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, or Wisconsin) in retail stores and online between April and September 2023. They can be identified by the following:

Consumers are advised not to use these products and to contact Bedrock for a full refund. Anyone who has experienced symptoms of foodborne illness after consuming these kratom powders should contact a healthcare provider.
