Male Endurance Supplement Sold on Amazon Recalled
On May 6, 2025, EnShiShiXiangNiShangMaoYouXianGongSi recalled one lot of Endurance Boost With Horny Goat Weed capsules because they were found to contain sildenafil and propoxyphenylsildenafil (a sildenafil analogue), drugs that are not permitted in dietary supplements.
(See ConsumerLab’s Review of Sexual Enhancement Supplements for tests of related products.)
Sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) is a drug prescribed for erectile dysfunction. Sildenafil can cause symptoms like headache and flushing and can interact with medications containing nitrates such as nitroglycerine, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure. Propoxyphenylsildenafil is a drug that is similar to sildenafil and may have similar risks.
Recalled Endurance Boost With Horny Goat Weed capsules (see product photos) were sold online at Amazon. They are packaged in a 20-count blister pack in a blue and white cardboard carton with white and black lettering and can be further identified by the following:
- Product name: Endurance Boost With Horny Goat Weed
- Expiration date: 02/14/2027
- Lot #: 250214PRO
