Food to Live Organic Moringa Leaf and Supergreens Mix Recalled
On November 12, 2025, Food To Live recalled its Organic Moringa Leaf Powder and Organic Supergreens Powder Mix after a supplier lot of organic moringa powder tested positive for Salmonella. The recall is part of the broader FDA and CDC investigation into a multistate Salmonella outbreak linked to contaminated moringa leaf powder, which prompted recalls of Member’s Mark Super Greens and Africa Imports Organic Moringa Leaf Powder.

Salmonella infection can cause serious, sometimes fatal illness in young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In severe cases, infection can lead to arterial infections, endocarditis, or arthritis.
Recalled Food To Live Organic Moringa Leaf Powder and Organic Supergreens Powder Mix (see product photos) were sold nationwide through the company’s website, as well as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Etsy, eBay, and through wholesale distribution to retailers and food manufacturers, and can be further identified by the following:
- Food To Live Organic Moringa Leaf Powder, in 8-ounce, 1-pound, 2-pound, 4-pound, 8-pound, 16-pound, and 44-pound bags, starting with lot codes of “SO-69006” through lot code “SO-72558.
- Food To Live Organic Supergreens Powder Mix, in 8-ounce, 1-pound, 1.5-pound, 3-pound, 6-pound, and 12-pound bags starting with lot codes of “SO-69006” through lot code “SO-72558.”
Consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. The FDA also advises consumers to thoroughly clean and sanitize any containers or surfaces that may have come into contact with the powders.
