Rosabella Moringa Capsules Recalled, Linked to Drug-Resistant Salmonella Outbreak
On February 13, 2026, Ambrosia Brands, LLC, recalled certain lots of Rosabella Moringa Powder capsules linked with a multi-state outbreak of drug-resistant Salmonella. The supplement was sold nationwide on the company’s website and on TikTok Shop, and possibly on Amazon, Shein, and eBay. To date, seven illnesses and three hospitalizations associated with the outbreak have been reported.

Salmonella is an organism that has been linked to fatal infection in young children, frail or elderly adults, and people with weakened immune systems. In healthy adults, Salmonella can produce fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, Salmonella infection can result in the organism entering the bloodstream and causing more severe illnesses, such as arterial infections (e.g., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis. According to the CDC, the Salmonella strain associated with this outbreak is resistant to all first-line and alternative antibiotics typically used to treat Salmonella infections.
Recalled Rosabella Moringa Powder capsules (see product photos) are packaged in white plastic bottles with a green label, contain 60 capsules per bottle, and have an expiration date of 2027. See the FDA’s recall notice for the complete list of 52 affected lot codes, which are printed on the bottom of the bottle.
The FDA advised consumers who have recalled Rosabella Moringa Powder capsules to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase. The agency also advises all consumers and retailers who purchased or received this product to carefully clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers that the product touched. In addition, the CDC advises anyone who has consumed this product and experiences severe symptoms such as high fever, dehydration, or bloody diarrhea to contact their healthcare provider immediately and inform them that they consumed this product so they can follow CDC guidance on treatment for this Salmonella strain.
According to the CDC, the outbreak is not linked to the Salmonella outbreak in late 2025 and early 2026 that led to the recall of several brands of moringa leaf powders, including Member’s Mark Super Greens Powder, Food To Live Organic Moringa Leaf Powder, and Organic Supergreens Powder Mix.
