Recall: Better Weather Fix Elixir Contains Undeclared, Dangerous Kratom Compounds

On May 9, 2026, XD Investments recalled approximately 448 boxes of Better Weather Fix Elixir dietary supplements because FDA analysis found the products contain undeclared mitragynine and mitragynine pseudoindoxyl, potent compounds derived from kratom.

Mitragynine is a psychoactive compound found in kratom. Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl (MP), also found in some kratom products, is considered to be almost as potent as fentanyl (MP) and has a high potential for addiction with severe opioid withdrawal symptoms and adverse effects. Consumption of mitragynine pseudoindoxyl can cause nausea, vomiting, rapid heart rate, palpitations, hallucinations, sedation, anxiety, loss of consciousness, and potentially fatal suppression of the respiratory system.

(See ConsumerLab’s article about safety concerns with kratom for more information about these compounds.)

The recall includes all lots, flavors, and variations of Better Weather Fix Elixir (see product photos). The affected products were sold online between approximately November 9, 2025, and March 28, 2026. and sold in display boxes labeled “Better Weather Fix Elixir” and “Better Weather Fix Elixir Berry.”

Consumers who purchased Better Weather Fix Elixir products should stop using them immediately, dispose of the products, or contact XD Investments for refund information and additional assistance.
